GW Micro makes and distributes Window-Eyes, and the company recently released the newest version of its well-known and widely used software. Spacing. This is the space between each tile of the pattern. Tile buttons. This is where you choose which of the five tiles you want to create. Flip. This option lets you flip the pattern along and/or across the path. Fit. In this option, you can choose Stretch to fit, Add space to fit, or Approximate path. Stretch lengthens or shortens a tile to fit your object. Add space adds a blank space between the tiles to fit the path proportionately. The Pen tool keeps drawing shapes instead of paths. If you have been using the Pen tool to draw paths and then you switch to a shape tool and set its option to draw Shape layers, when you come back to the Pen tool, its options will have been changed to Shape layers, too. This is the default behavior: Options for the Pen tools affect the shape tools, and vice versa. The remedy is to reset the Pen tools options to draw Paths each time you switch between tools by clicking the second icon on the options bar, not counting the tool icon.
