to show his oppositional traits in order to engage the therapist in a manner that required redirection. When this was provided (external control), his image returned to human form (page 3). However, by page 4 only the directive was offered, and the client continued to draw nonhuman gures until the nal one at page 8. This indicated that he does have internal control but relies heavily upon authority gures to guide and caretake. In addition, this client is sensitive to criticism, yet he seeks out verbal reprimands, which causes me to wonder if that is his only mode of interaction with his family and subsequently the environment. Furthermore, his projected aggressiveness, coupled with his dependency needs, appears to be focused on the parental dyad and related to his con ictual feelings of infantile dependency and his need to exhibit virility with a frustrated adolescent s mind-set (i.e., grandiosity, poorly developed inner controls, recognition through antisocial activities). That his drawing went from a cloaked (sunglasses) and belligerent person to a seated and defeated male shows the patient s grandiosity toward masculinity, yet feelings of inferiority cannot be held at bay and therefore become prominent in his drawings as the layers of personality are stripped away. Unfortunately, his hostile pride does not allow the affect, and he therefore denies these desires by avoiding emotional attachments and shuts out the overwhelming feelings through antagonism, substance abuse, antisocial relationships, and ultimately the defense of reaction formation. It will be imperative that future sessions concentrate on increasing decision-making ability and autonomy. Helping professionals and family members will have to make a conscious effort not to enter into a codependent relationship and must therefore provide consistent structure and consequences for choices of behavior, setting realistic goals for his future, becoming involved in peer interventions and group therapy, and in due course exploring his grandiosity as overcompensation for feelings of dependency. Personal Pro le 3.6 The nal 8CRT assessment we will review is based on two projective tests given to the same client. The rst examination is called Draw-aPerson in the Rain (Figure 3.11), which is loosely based on the DAP projective test and measures an individual s ability to deal with stress from the environment. The second test (Figure 3.12) was the 8CRT and was administered over 1 year later. This test was utilized to assess the patient s functioning with regard to stabilization as the treatment team looked toward community placement.

Thus finding eigenvalues and eigenvectors of exp(-gT) is equivalent to finding eigenvalues and eigenvectors of H itself-no information is gained or lost by transforming the problem to Euclidian space (assuming no poles are encountered in rotating the time to the imaginary axis; see below). Once the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of exp( - H T ) are known we may use them to calculate the corresponding quantities for the operator exp( -iHt) the original in Minkowski space. In field theory this procedure is called the W c rotation. The relations ik among the Euclidian and Minkowski coordinates and momenta are (Coleman, 1975; Huang, 1982)

Purpose Computes the common (base 10) logarithm of an expression. Returns the contents of a lookup, based upon the current relationship graph. Returns the looked-up value or the next higher/lower if no match is found. Converts a text string to all lowercase. Displays the greatest value among those in specified fields. Returns a portion of a supplied text string, starting at a given position and extending a specified number of characters. Returns the values/paragraphs, specified by the third parameter, from the first parameter, starting at the value indicated by the second parameter. Returns the specified number of words from a text string, counting from the specified starting word. Displays the smallest value among those in specified fields. Returns the minute portion of a time expression. Returns the remainder when an expression is divided by a given number. Displays the number of the month in a date expression, within the range 1 12. Displays the name of month in a date expression. Finds the net present value of an investment (also known as discounting cash flow), using values in repeating fields as unequal payment values and the given interest rate. Converts Arabic (Roman) numbers to Japanese (Kanji) with optionally specified separators. Returns the number of instances of a specified text string found within another text string or field. Returns the value of the mathematical constant pi.
At the top-left corner is the Timeline drop-down list, which is used to indicate the current timeline. By default, every new timeline is given the name Timelinen, where n indicates how many timelines have been created. You can rename the timeline by selecting it and typing in the new name. It s a good practice to give each timeline a descriptive, recognizable name; you ll appreciate it as you accumulate and use more timelines.
Summary
This check box creates .FFT files with your published Generator Template (.SWT file). Each typeface (font) that you use in Static, Dynamic, or Input Text will be saved in a separate file. These font files should be in the same directory as the .SWT file on the Generator-enabled Web server. If you use Generator variables in Flash text, then you should always create external font files.

Table 8.1. We recognize that the situations (a) and (b) are in principle identical for the linear/planar array. However, for the curved array there is an important difference: the case with a focused beam results in an active reflection coefficient that varies considerably from element to element, whereas for the linear/planar array the reflection coefficient is roughly the same for all elements (except for edge elements). Thus, for the curved case, it can be desirable to apply different matching circuits to different elements in the array, since the active impedances are not as uniform as in the linear/planar case. We illustrate the above qualitative reasoning in Figures 8.21 and 8.22. The first example is the cophasal pattern in Figure 8.15 for 30 scan angle, which results in the computed active reflection coefficient variations of Figure 8.21. This graph is a polar representation of the complex reflection coefficient (i.e., a Smith chart) showing the values for each of the 18 elements along the 120 curved array. As seen, there are large impedance variations within the array. Equal amplitude and phase excitation of the same array, on the other hand, gives a broad beam, Figure 8.22 (a), and the impedances in Figure 8.22 (b). All elements have about the same (rather low) reflection coefficient.

When discussing reinstating a Find, it s important to consider that the data may have changed since the Find was performed. Records that matched the criteria at the time of the Find may have been edited so that they no longer match. Records that didn t match may have been edited so that they do, and, of course, records may have been added or deleted. To reinstate a Find, you can either n Locate the records that were located previously (if they still exist), whether or not they still match the original Find criteria. This technique is useful when retrieving historical data. n Perform a new Find by using the original Find criteria to locate the records (if any) matching those criteria now. Use this technique to determine the current status. Using FileMaker s scripting capabilities, you can configure your solutions to do either of the preceding depending on the requirements of the solution and its users. In either case, you need a table (in the same file or another file) in which to store each Find and a script to build an array of information and store that information array in a Finds table record. If you decide to store a record of the specific records located in a Find (rather than the criteria), the best way to do so is by gathering the unique key values of records in the found set. Traditionally, developers have used a technique involving the use of the Copy All Records/Requests[ ] command on a special layout and then a Paste command to store the contents of the clipboard. I don t recommend this approach because it modifies the clipboard and depends on the interface (special layouts with the correct fields present). Instead, I prefer to employ a script looping through the found set, gathering unique key values into a variable, and then to write the variable s contents into a text field in a new record in your Finds table.
That completes the Data Entry layout. Compare yours with the one shown in Figure 4-1.
