In the top right of the RSS Subscriptions pane, the following tools are available: n Subscribe. Click the Subscribe button when you want to add more subscription services. You can collapse the list in the left pane and scroll through different services you subscribe to. n Remove. Select a service in the left pane and click the Remove button to delete the service from the list. n Refresh. When you open RSS your subscriptions are automatically updated. If you have Acrobat and the Review Tracker open with the RSS pane in view and you want to check for new feeds, click the refresh button and your subscription is updated to the current minute. n Next Unread. Click the Next Unread button to view the next item in the left pane. n Convert to PDF. If you want to archive a particular thread, click the PDF button. The item is immediately converted to PDF and opened in the Document pane. This can be a valuable asset if you find some issues going on with Acrobat that require a configuration on your computer to avoid a problem. You can combine files into a single PDF file or a PDF Package and search the archived documents.

Data Integration Methods
Because the drop-down doesn t provide Live Preview, I often nd working in the dialog box to involve a bit less trial-and-error. The basic technique is to choose a box/border design (Box, Shadow, or 3-D), and then customize as you see t. You can click the boxes or the borders in the Preview area to turn individual sides on or off. By alternately clicking Style, Color, or Width and the line segments you want to format, you can even create a box with four completely different sides. (Did I fail to mention that this chapter is about formatting, not tacky design ) Additionally, you can adjust the distance between the border and paragraph text by clicking Options in the lower-right corner of the dialog box. You can individually adjust the distance for any of the four sides.
When preparing our photos for email and the Web, we tend to use a resolution of 100 ppi, because the resolution of a typical computer monitor is 72 ppi to 125 ppi. (Pixels per inch, or ppi, is how monitor resolution is expressed, although it s virtually the same thing as dpi.) The decimal unit type will display one millimeter for one unit. Specify the number of decimal places for your readout using precision, as in Figure 1.2. The engineering and architectural modes assume that one drawing unit equals one inch. Again set your precision, as shown in Figure 1.3. Fractional and scientific settings will give a readout in those specific units. Again, the UNITS cOlnmand only sets the readout. If you are setting your UNITS in inches, but your 'Insertion scale' is luillimeters, then you will have problems later. The UNITS command can be accessed either through the command line or through the UNITS dialog box from the Fonnat pull-down menu at the top of your screen.
