series is de-aggregated into one departure time, one departure track, and one train. However, between two aggregation levels there can also exist 1:n relations. For example, at an even lower level the object type train could be more thoroughly described with the aid of the object type kind of rolling stock, which in turn can be considered as consisting of the object type type of rolling stock. It can then be claimed that there is a 1:1 relation between train and kind of rolling stock, and there is a 1:n relation between kind of rolling stock and type of rolling stock. In other words, one train consists of one kind of rolling stock. However, a certain kind of rolling stock can consist of several types of rolling stock. At the lowest level an object type always consists of a collection of concrete entities, the so-called instantiations. An example of an instantiation of the object type engine driver is the engine driver with the name Karel Bakker. In the process of planning shunting activities, a large number of object types play a role. In order to map out these object types, we will rst look at the typical pattern of a train instantiation at a shunting yard. Starting from this pattern we will then make abstractions into the various object types. At a certain point in time, a train enters the shunting yard. This train has certain characteristics. For example, it is part of a so-called train series (a train series is a number of trains all having the same point of departure and the same destination, and all stopping at the same intermediate stations), and it is composed of a number of train carriages that all have to be of the same kind (otherwise they cannot be coupled into one train), but it can differ with respect to stock type (for instance, a type consisting of three carriages and a type consisting of four carriages). This train enters the shunting yard on a particular track. Subsequently, it is checked from which track and at what time the train has to be ready for departure. If the arrival track and the departure track are not the same tracks, it may be necessary to shunt the train. If this is actually the case, a shunting movement will at a certain point take place replacing the train either to an intermediary siding or to the track of departure. Which one of these two shunting movements are carried out depends on the use, by other trains, of the arrival track or the departure track of the train under consideration, as well as on the time between arrival and departure. In the case that during the time between arrival and departure both the arrival track and the departure track are used by other trains, it may be necessary to put the train on a siding in the meantime. If a siding is used, shunting will have to take place again afterwards: At some point the train will have to be shunted to the departure track. It is also possible that the train is shunted from one siding to another. It goes without saying that for each of these shunting movements, an engine driver is required. During the shunting process the train may have to be rearranged: several railway carriages (either of the same or of a different rolling stock type) could be coupled, but they could also be uncoupled. For both coupling and decoupling carriages, shunting movements are necessary: The carriages that have to be coupled have to be moved to the track where the train has been placed, and the uncoupled carriages have to be removed. Whenever there is, a coupling or decoupling of trains, there is, apart from the engine drivers involved, a shunter present who makes sure that the physical coupling between railway carriages is either carried out or terminated. If
(Equation (6.11)). Dihedral angles are limited to only certain ranges in proteins and are crucial for de ning the conformation of the overall polypeptide chain (Figure 6.19). COSY spectroscopy can yield a list of torsion angle restraints for the protein. Together with the list of distance constraints generated by NOESY, these form the major data inputs in determination of protein three-dimensional structure by multidimensional NMR.
The Reader environment is controlled through menu commands for document information and preferences. You can change preferences to suit your individual needs when viewing PDFs in Acrobat Reader. Text selections are made with the Text Select tool. Columns of text are selected with the Column Select tool. With either tool, selected text can be copied and pasted into other application documents. Graphic image selections can be made with the Graphics Select tool, which is located on the Command Bar in an Acrobat viewer. Graphics, such as text, can be copied. The copied images can be pasted into an image editor. Online help guides are installed with Acrobat Reader and Acrobat 5.0. Help can be selected from the Help menu, which opens a help guide in an Acrobat viewer. Web links to the Adobe Web site offer additional help and information about Adobe Acrobat. You can view the Adobe Acrobat home page and navigate through a site related to information about Acrobat. Among other information is a special link to pages that offer tips and techniques in using Acrobat.

The menu macro is the heart of the menu. To enter a macro, click the text box to the right of the Macro item and start typing. If your macro is long, click the Ellipsis button at the right of the text box to open the Long String editor. You need to know a number of special characters and conventions in order to write menu macros. Table 33-1 lists some of the most common ones.
