You can save time when typing Web addresses by having Internet Explorer automatically preface your entry with www. and end it with the suffix .com. Just type the domain name in the address bar and then select Ctrl+Enter. For example, type winsupersite, select Ctrl+Enter, and you get www.winsupersite.com in a new tab. This is different from actually searching on the Internet for the address; see the Autosearch for a Web Address section later in this chapter for more information.

The Network and Sharing Center can also display a more detailed network map that shows you a topographical view encompassing other PCs and devices on your home network. You can see this map by clicking the link titled See full map. As shown in Figure 9-7, this map can be quite full indeed. (More often than not, however, the full map offers information that isn t any more useful than the information provided on the basic map.)

If you click the Allow Printing radio button, the user accounts you list will be denied access to the printer and vice versa for the Deny Printing radio button. That s just a bit backward, if you ask me!
